Technical Help

Supported Browsers

Slipmat uses modern JavaScript techniques which requires a relatively modern (generally <5 years old) browser. If you see an error about browser support, please try a more modern browser.

For a more technical explanation see Vite Browser Compatibility.

How to Allow localStorage (Website Data) in Common Browsers

Slipmat uses localStorage for optimizing the site performace. Here are instructions to enable it in case you see an error saying that it doesn't work. (Note: things like private browsing mode may disallow localStorage.)

Note that any normal --even extremely tight-- privacy settings 100% work with Slipmat, you don't need to do anything out of ordinary in order to use the site.

Discouraged for Ethical Reasons

Google Chrome spies on you and using it harms both you the user and the Web. If you care about your privacy or ethics, you should conser swithing to any other alternative. If you like the Chrome experience, Brave is a free and privacy-friendly version. All the other browsers mentioned above are good alternatives as well.
